Sponsors - AGFA

Staffordshire Schools and Colleges FA are delighted to announce that the Andy Griffin Football Academy (AGFA) have continued their incredible support of our association by sponsoring our Under 16 Boys and Under 16 Girls teams for the 2023-2024 season. Everyone at Staffordshire Schools' and Colleges' FA are hugely appreciative to Andy Griffin and NSCG for their continued unwavering support of schoolboy and schoolgirl representative football in Staffordshire.

As part of the NSCG Academy of Sport across Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group, the AGFA offers a two-year full-time programme aimed at talented young male and female players who have aspirations to play football at a high level or work in the football industry, but also appreciate the value of a top class education. When you're not showing off your skills on the pitch, you'll be showing us what you're made of in the classroom.

AGFA offers either a vocational route with BTEC Level 2 or Level 3 Extended Diplomas, or an A-Level route with the choice of 3 A-Levels from a range of subjects. Previous alumni include Ethan Cartwright and David Neligwa who alongside studying and playing for AGFA, also represented Staffordshire Schoolboys Under 18 and England Schoolboys Under 18s between 2017-2019. After his time where he excelled with AGFA, David Neligwa enthused "It's all about how you apply yourself! If you can give 100% in training and on the pitch, you can expect to have a great team spirit and become part of a squad, who will work hard to support each other no matter what."
